1970's Lyle SG
Year: 1970's
Brand: Lyle
Model: SG
Class: Guitar
Scale: 24.75
Owner: Phillip Brown

This was a rebuild job. Very close to Phill's first lyle, it boasts a thicker neck and a more robust body minus the comfort cuts. It was in rough condition when It came our way.

The vibrato was rusted so bad it was unusable. The pickguard was broken and then filled with caulk. Some king of gold buttons were caulked into the pickguard to fill holes.

I was able to remove the caulk, one pot and the jack were casualties. But in the end It was salvageable. We ended up routing the body out and putting in a Jaguar style vibrato.
