2023-06-01: Split repair for the top and inspection. The top was not separated from the bracing in any way, so I worked glue in to the crack and fine sanded the area. So in this case the top and the bracing moved together, so it's a spit from expansion/contraction of the whole instrument moving. The bridge was beginning to separate slightly at the edge. Rather than a full bridge removal I was able to inject hide glue under the leading edge and clamp. I added a bridge doctor to alleviates string tension stress. The head stock has a slight fogging I could not get all the way out. This leads me to believe it was subjected to substantial humidity and likely the cause of both issues.
