Daniel picked up this old 50's Kay for a song, but the action was super high.
2022-05-22: I was able to used heat, steam and clamping to get some relief back in the top, but it still want enough to get the action down where I wanted it. Luckily the bridge plae on these are far taller than they ever needed to be. I routed the bridge slot deeper, the brought the top of the bridge plate down to where it need to be. After adding and end pin jack, under saddle transducer and cutting a new bone bridge it sounds and plays pretty darn good. I left the action a bit high since this is a pre truss rod model with no neck adjustments.
