The Fender FE1000 tape echo was only made one year, 1966-67. The units main pcb is identical to its predecessor. The main changes are the case, the echo adjustment is now done with a linear arm rather that'll the previous round rotary adjustment, and the pinch wheel now is premenantly engaged with a spring rather than a solenoid like on the EEC.
