This one is a 3 knob Tel-Ray "Oil Can" Ad n Echo model 1001. This is the second model produced by Tel Ray, the first being the almost identical 2 knob version. Tel Ray would later change their name to Morley.
2023-01-21: On inspection, the original drive shaft was worn and broken. Luckily I've delt with this issue before and had a coupler on hand that fit the shaft. After repairing the shaft and replacing the drive belt I cleaned the oil can assembly and the electronics. The direct balance had been disabled. While the all wet effect sounded good I opted to re connect the direct signal balance pot and tune it to where I liked it. After adding a small amount of the correct oil this unit turned out to be one of the best sounding unis I've worked on.
