The Yamaha Red Label dates this Japanese guitar to 1969-71. This was the first guitar I ever tried to play, and It was a colossal failure. Now I know better an can attribute it to the high action and old strings. I didn't even try to play another guitar for 10 years after that first encounter. The lesson is, the setup is everything. Now here she is back in my hands for the second time.
