To bring this one back to life I started with redoing the original windscreen with orange silk. After that I added some super bright orange leds and upgraded the old element with a modern Shure element. I finished the rebuild off by replacing the original slide switch and upgrading it to an XLR connection. Now it sounds as good as it looks.
